The article considers the current state of agriculture and its role in the development of the municipal district. The authors describe the measures that are applied at a particular agricultural enterprise. As a result of implementation, it is possible to achieve a solid economic base, thereby increasing the sustainable development of not only an individual enterprise, but also the municipal district as a whole.
