The article presents the results of a comparative analysis of petrophytic and shrubby isolated steppe communities in the vicinity of the village of Salikhovo, Chishminsky district of the Republic of Bashkortostan, restored after the cessation of long-term pasture digression. The analysis showed that during the restorative succession, depleted variants of steppe phytocenoses are formed, due to the loss of some shrubs and tall valuable forage herbaceous steppe species and the absence of sources of dissemination.
