In present time, the issues of irrigation and mechanization of irrigation have regained their relevance. Automatic, high-performance, multi-support sprinklers are most widely used in modern agriculture. New design solutions allow to reduce the losses on the movement of the machine itself, as well as the negative impact ofthe sprinkler on crops and soil. The article presents a methodology for calculating the characteristics and geometric parameters of wheel propellers used in the sprinkler, providing the minimum resistance to its movement, depending on the type of soil.
