To substantiate the conditions of safe mining of the ore deposit sections of the Charmitan deposit (Zarmitan gold ore zone), the change in the stress-strain state of the rock mass has been estimated during the actual mining. In the article, researches have been carried out to solve geomechanical problems using numerical modeling based on the finite element method. Based on the performed calculation on the finite element model of the stress-strain state of the massif several sizes (62 m, 40 m and 41 m) of safety pillar have been analyzed. To compare the results obtained in the model, the calculation of the expected deformations for the protected area has been performed at the power of the safety pillar 43 m.
