The formation of a modern urban environment is a process of landscaping that meets today’s needs of the information society and space. The technology of creating a fully functional geographic information system is described. Localization and coordination of the geoinformation space is carried out by geodesy methods. An algorithm for obtaining spatial information about objects with the aim of further using it for modeling and designing the urban environment, analyzing urban space is proposed.
