Considering the evolving COVID-19 pandemic sweeping across all over the world, most international participants were not able to join conferences physically. After comprehensive consideration, the conference organizing committees decided to change the 3rd International Conference on Advances in Civil and Ecological Engineering Research (ACEER 2021) from a hybrid mode (Online and Offline) to online mode only via Microsoft Teams during July 27-30, 2021 Microsoft Teams Meeting opens a door for international participants to exchange latest findings in the field of Civil, Environmental, and Ecological Engineering, discuss recent advances, new techniques and explore avenues to collaborate with top experts from various countries, which is also the aim of ACEER 2021. With the function of sharing Power Point and video presentation, providing chat box for Q&A, and recording presentation, that we choose Microsoft Teams to hold the conference. The shortcoming is that the speakers can not speak fluently sometimes due to internet problems. However, it is in fact a way to hold an international conference online.
