The article presents the results of the research on the adsorption activity of activated and organomodified aluminosilicate particles used as nanosized organomineral additives in lubricants technology. The technologies of oil adsorptive purification in presence of modified aluminosilicate particles are examined. The efficiency of bentonite activation with sodium chloride solution, acid activation of powdered bentonite, production of organomodified bentonite for base oil additives, aimed at increasing the wear resistance of steel surfaces, are analyzed. The efficiency of such materials usability for extending the lubricants life cycle has been shown. Tribological tests have confirmed the prospects of additives based on modified particles of aluminosilicates to increase the service life of friction units.
