The article considers experimental data on the study of humus content in typical chernozem, depending on the method of basic tillage, doses of mineral and organic fertilizers in conditions of long-term land use. It is determined that when plowing, it is better to apply manure at a dose of 16 t/ha in combination with mineral fertilizers at a dose of N84P124K124, and with minimal tillage – mineral fertilizers in a single dose. The correlation and regression analysis of the obtained results was carried out. It was found that when constructing 4-factor models, a strong correlation was established in the 0-10 cm layer (>0.7), and in the underlying layers an average correlation (0.53-0.60). These models will allow not only to control the humus content in typical chernozem, but also to make a forecast of its changes in the future.
