The directions for the improvement of the level of labor protection through personnel management in the process of recruitment, the development of competence and the preservation of the health of workers are substantiated. Using the example of loading and transport enterprise activities, the role of a person as a guarantor of the improvement of a complex organizational and production system safety is determined.
