Muon imaging technology has been applied in many fields. The exploratory application of muon imaging technology after the Fukushima nuclear accident provides enlightenment for the application of nuclear core safety monitoring under serious accidents. In this paper, the muon imaging technology is introduced from the aspects of technical principle, muon detection technology, imaging algorithm and application, so as to provide ideas and methods for the application of muon imaging technology in nuclear core safety monitoring.
