In order to speed up the construction of land science, solve land problems and promote the sustainable and rational development and utilization of land resources. In this paper, we start with recognizing the existing problems of land resources, discuss the subject construction of land engineering, and discuss its core research. The results show that there are some problems in the land resources, such as the continuous expansion of land desertification area, serious soil erosion and soil pollution; In order to solve the land problem, it is proposed to speed up the construction of land engineering discipline and vigorously carry out the research work with the organic reconstruction of soil as the core.
