Polymer flooding technology after years of painstaking research, from the initial pilot field experiment, to the later industrial field experiment, now has entered the stage of industrialization. During this period, a series of technical applications in the field of polymer flooding were established, forming a supporting system for polymer flooding, laying a solid foundation for the large-scale application of polymer flooding, which is widely used in the oilfield. And polymer flooding technology has achieved remarkable results in Daqing Oilfield. This paper analyzes the dynamic characteristics of polymer flooding technology in Daqing Oilfield and the influencing factors of displacement effect.
