Numerical model of Concrete-Face Rock-Fill Dam is built based on the large finite element software ANSYS, three- dimensional finite e1ement theory of numerical simulation is applied to Concrete-Face Rock-Fill Dam. The displacement of the dam and the stress of the concrete-faced are obtained. The deformation and the stress distribution of Concrete-Face Rock-Fill Dam in construction and impoundment are analyzed. The research result will be very useful to Concrete-Face Rock-Fill Dam’s construct and design in the future.
