Child-friendly school is an educational program organized by the government of the Republic of Indonesia to fulfill, guarantee and protect children’s rights. A child-friendly school program, ensuring schools can develop children’s interests, talents, and abilities, prepare children to be responsible, tolerant, respectful, and collaborative. One of the elements of a child-friendly school is from the aspect of school infrastructure it is a). rooms in school buildings are protected from glare and light reflection; b). spaces in school buildings are protected from noise; c). there is sufficient lighting in the classroom. The purpose of this study was to map the readiness of 12 schools that were about to participate in the Adiwiyata school competition, whether appropriate or not. The research was conducted in the Malang Regency Education Office, representing the areas of North Malang Regency, South Malang Regency, East Malang Regency, and West Malang Regency. Data obtained by taking direct measurements to the school using a sound meter. The data obtained were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The conclusion that can be drawn is that the schools proposed to participate in the National Adiwiyata program by the Malang District Education Office do not meet the criteria for child-friendly schools. Suggestions that can be submitted to the Malang Regency Education Office for schools with noise levels above the ideal threshold (55 dB) need to be reconsidered
