As a new type of formwork support, the wheel-coupler type formwork support has been widely used in China, but its research is not comprehensive enough. Therefore, this article introduces the structural characteristics of the wheel-coupler type formwork support and summarizes the current research status. The mechanical properties of the joints are analyzed by finite element analysis, and the analysis results are compared with the disk lock steel tubular scaffold, so as to promote the popularize and use of the wheel-coupler type formwork support.
