CdO and CdO: F films were grown using spray pyrolysis method (SPM). The effects of F doping on physical characterization were estimated using XRD, AFM and optical absorption. XRD patterns indicate that samples are cubic polycrystalline with preferred (111) orientation. AFM images assure that films consist of uniform spherical shaped grains, smooth morphology free of cracks. Optical bandgap was decreased as Fluorine doping increased
