Peer review declaration

All papers published in this volume of IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. • Type of peer review : The CITIES 2020 Conference used double-blind review, which means that both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process. There was two process of review, such as abstract and full paper review. The conference provided review form for the reviewers to decide their recommendation. There were four decision options which is available in the review form, such as accepted with no revision, accepted with revision, resubmit and review, and decline. Therefore, there was opportunity for author to resubmit the article after revision. • Conference submission management system : The submission was divided into two period, namely abstract and full paper submission. The accepted abstracts were suggested to submit the full papers. The authors submitted their manuscript to the official email address of the CITIES Conference, it is citiesconference@gmail.com which was monitored daily by the team in charge in the paper division. Furthermore, the Editors of conference determined the suitable reviewers after the paper submission accepted from the paper division. During the submission, the authors should complete the registration form to indicate their preference to the publication options. The CITIES 2020 Conference provided three options of publication, such as accredited international journal, accredited national journal, and Scopus indexed proceedings journal. • Number of submissions received : 59 • Number of submissions sent for review : 59 • Number of submissions accepted : 58 • Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100) : 98.3% • Average number of reviews per paper : 2 • Total number of reviewers involved : 12 • Any additional info on review process : The CITIES 2020 Conference provided the process of checking the similarity index of all papers submitted.
