The simulation models are used to compare achievable dynamic parameters of layout diagrams of hydraulic percussion mechanisms having similar size and weight. The comparison results prove application feasibility of these layouts in engineering hydraulically driven percussion machines. The optimization methods are used to find the optimal values of design variables to meet the criterion of maximal blow energy.
