Taking a multi-storey reinforced concrete frame structure office building as an example, the model analysis, response spectrum analysis and time history analysis of the whole structure are carried out by using the finite element software SAP2000, and the output results of y-pillar in different scenarios are analyzed. The results show that the overall seismic performance of the frame meets the design specifications, and the y-pillar structure meets the elastic and non yield characteristics of the large earthquake.
