This paper briefly introduces the significance of applying green environmental protection building materials under the background of serious energy consumption and environmental pollution and the current development situation in China. According to the relevant literature and survey data, three restrictive factors in application of green environmental protection building materials are summarized, and some suggestions are put forward.
