Preface

This proceeding contains the articles which presented and selected in the 3 rd years of International Conference on Sustainable Agriculture and Biosystem (ICSAB), that held on November 25 th 2020. Organizer located in Padang City, West Sumatera, Inonesia. Organizer, Agricultural Technology Andalas University, always conducts ICSAB every year since 2018. And in this pandemic of Covid-19 Situation, then the ICSAB would be held with virtual mode (online via Zoom Meeting ). This conference organized by Faculty of Agricultural Technology, Andalas University in collaboration with Universiti Technolgy MARA, Malaysia; Kyushu University, Japan; University of Hawaii at Manoa Honolulu, USA; Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia; and IPB University, Indonesia. The participants are also coming from couples of countries in Asia i.e; Indonesia, Vietnam and Malaysia. The participants have presented their papers orally through video conference and divided 10 paralel sessions, a participant would have 10-15 minutes to present her/his paper. We present 6 keynote speaker from different countries, i.e Indonesia, Japan, USA and Malaysia. The theme of this conference is “ Emerging New Trends in Sustainable Agricultural and Biosystem Practices ” that divided into eight specified themes. They are: 1) Precision Farming, 2) Socio Economic Value Chains in Agricultural System, 3) Smart Technologies in Agriculture System, 4) Biosystem and Bioprocess, 5) Land and Water Resources, 6) Food Technology, 7) Agro-Industrial Production System, and 8) Renewable Energy and Biodiversity. There are 127 papers that had been presented orally and through poster presentation during this conference. Then, any 88 of 127 papers have been selected after reviewed by authorized reviewers. Two papers rejected during IoP reviewing and finally only 86 papers were selected to be published in IOP conference series: Earth and Environmental Sciences. Lastly, Our team would like to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to the all of the participants, the colleagues as well as Andalas University administration for their indispensable support in organizing this scientific meeting and publisher (IOP Publishing) which accepted our articles for publishing.
