This paper assesses the impact of the temperature potential of the coolant on the expected cost-effectiveness of autonomous heating systems for an individual residential building. The analysis is based on a system of equations that characterize the dependence of the economic criterion - specific costs from the consumption of the heat carrier and the size of the equipment of the water heating system - pipes, heating devices, water boilers, circulating pumps, fittings for facilities located in different climatic zones, taking into account the existing regulatory recommendations on the level of thermal protection of buildings with different volume and planning indicators.
