This paper provides a method of evaluating variants of autonomous heating systems with different levels of potential of the coolant (estimated temperature difference) by economic criterion - the given costs, attributed to the unit of power of the system. The system model is based on a mathematical description of the cost components of the system - equipment (pipes, heating appliances, heat generator, circulating pump) and operational (energy expenditure for the transfer of thermal energy), depending on the flow of heat, heat power and the size of the equipment of the water heating system. Model analysis reveals the most effective calculation parameters of the system already at the design stage.
