
Rational environmental management on the example of the Kingdom of Thailand

The article raises the problem of rational nature management in the Kingdom of Thailand. The research questions concern the loss of biodiversity, the reduction of forest space, the lack of fresh water, climate change, air and water pollution. Cost-benefit analysis is considered as the main economic tool to justify the adoption of design decisions in the field of nature management and environmental protection. When solving the research problem, the most promising direction of preserving the well-being of society through the effective use of natural resources, the concept of a “green” economy was adopted. The economic efficiency of the application of this direction of development was determined.
