The article deals with the issues of ecological and epidemiological status of drinking water for the territory of the Chechen Republic. Studies of a number of samples of drinking water at various sites of resource-supplying organizations on the territory of the Republic were carried out. Certain deviations from the norms corresponding to sanitary requirements for water pipes and their unsatisfactory condition were revealed. There is an unsatisfactory provision of the population of the Republic with quality drinking water.
