Temperature and salinity affect to pollutant dispersion, used as water quality indicator and also limiting factor for organism distribution pattern. Pasir Putih Situbondo state as waters conservation area because of its natural resources diversity. The changes in water temperature and salinity at Pasir Putih water can affect to the living organism in it. Monitoring of water quality become part of the effort to manage the water resources and other related components. The aim of this study is investigate temperature and salinity distribution in Pasir Putih water. Temperature and salinity was measured from 6 stations horizontally. Sampling of temperature and salinity took the surface water and using in-situ methods. The sampling was done in ebb condition. The result of this research is the average temperature and salinity of six sampling locations is 30.7°C and 33.3%o. The temperature and salinity are in normal condition according to standart value in Decree of the State Minister of the Environment Number 51 of 2004.
