This paper briefly introduces the general situation of wuhan Anjing community project, and analyzes the existing problems of this elderly community from the perspective of community planning and design on the basis of preliminary investigation. By means of low-impact transformation and micro-governance, this community is designed for transformation from the aspects of road traffic organization, transformation of main entrance and exit gates, micro-renewal of public space, etc. Through functional renewal, the vitality of the old community is explored, the overall environmental quality is improved, and reasonable suggestions are provided for its sustainable development.
