In the paper, the authors presents current situation of ancient and famous trees resources in Daxiong Mountain; the characteristics of ancient and famous trees resources is analyzed: (1) There were a large number of trees, and most of them appear in communities. (2) There are many old and tall trees with beautiful tree shapes and different postures. (3) There are many rare and precious old trees. Third, investigated the Problems existing in protection and management of ancient and famous trees in Daxiong Mountain and the reasons. Final, protection countermeasures of ancient and famous trees in Daxiong Mountain is put forward.
