Reasonable scheduling can achieve energy saving in the production process. Considering the TOU and tiered electricity price policy, an integer linear programming model for flow shop with the goal of minimizing the power cost is constructed, and a particle swarm optimization algorithm (PSO) with a three-layer coding method based on the workpiece, start time and machining state and the iterative process is designed. Finally, the correctness of the mathematical model and the effectiveness of the algorithm are verified by an example.
