This paper analyzes the color problems of local residential buildings by conducting field research on the color of new rural residential buildings in Sichuan, analyzes and refines the traditional architectural color, natural color and folk culture color of new rural residential buildings in Sichuan by using Munsell color system, and summarizes the principles, methods and standards for planning the color system of new rural residential buildings in Sichuan, hoping to find out the real suitable color for new rural residential buildings in Sichuan. We hope to discover the scientific color ideas for the new rural residential buildings in Sichuan and contribute to constructing new rural residential buildings in Sichuan.
