The paper is devoted to the analysis of the structural and thickness characteristics of the sedimentary mantle of the northern part of the Surgut arch (Western Siberia, Russia). Based on the results of generalization of the structural surfaces of the Meso-Cenozoic sedimentary mantle reflecting horizons, the specifics of the surface relations have been determined. It was found that the relationship between the reflecting sedimentary horizons controls the oil and gas content of the YUS1 formation in the area studied. To determine the prospective oil and gas content of the area, the relationship between the reflecting horizons has been analyzed in detail. The resulting specifics have been analyzed, and the identification of zones has been justified. Zoning of the study area has been performed. The identified zones are characterized by different structural surface relation patterns and correspond to areas with similar sedimentation conditions and tectonic regimes manifested during the sedimentation period.
