Geo-ecological assessments are widely used in the practice of modern environmental management. Dong Nai has favorable geographical features for developing high quality agriculture. The analyzed data indicated that the northeast region has prospects for agricultural development with food crops and fruit trees. The south and southwest areas are suitable for industrial-urban development combined with the development of perennial industrial crops. Organic agriculture will be the main trend in agricultural production of Dong Nai province, in order to improve the efficiency of agriculture and maintain the ecological environmental quality.
