This paper proposes a thermal management system based on liquid direct contact with battery. The paper first uses the principles of heat transfer and computational fluid dynamics to establish a thermal model for single cells and 48V battery module, the performance of thermal management system which liquid indirect contact with battery and thermal management system which liquid direct contact with battery are compared and analyzed by simulation. The results show that the latter is better than the former in battery temperature rise control and single cell temperature consistency control, and has good application and promotion value.
