A high-resolution three-dimensional thermo-salt-current numerical model was established to study the structure, and evolution of the Luzon cold eddies (LCEs) based on FVCOM. Study findings showed that, because of the double-eddies structure of LCEs, the isotherm and isohaline show the special characteristics of rising on both sides and falling down between them.
