Based on the analysis of xi’an’s water resources, this paper constructs the evaluation index system of Xi’an’s water environment carrying capacity. The coefficient of variation method and the bearing capacity model of each evaluation index were used to calculate the weight of each index and the bearing capacity of each index, and then the bearing capacity of the water environment of Xi’an city was calculated according to the original value of each index and the method of “module addition”, and then the variation trend was analyzed, the deficiency was pointed out and the improvement measures were put forward.
