The bulk cargo terminal conveying system has the problems of low equipment efficiency and high energy consumption during operating conditions such as no-load starting, ship loader shifting, and ship unloader clearing. In this paper, combined with the full frequency conversion control technology, the research on the frequency conversion control mode of the bulk cargo terminal and the energy saving effect test are carried out, and the optimized control method for the energy saving process is proposed. Under various common working conditions, the bulk cargo terminal can control the belt conveyor to run at low or zero speed according to the actual situation on the spot, so as to minimize energy consumption.
