As a new type of green power system, lithium ion battery has been widely developed in the field of new energy. Lithium manganese oxide has become a hot topic due to its low price, safety and pollution-free properties. In this paper, the research progress of positive electrode material LiMn 2 O 4 for lithium ion batteries in recent years is reviewed, in addition, the structural properties, synthesis methods, existing problems and modification aspects of the material are described.
