After successfully held for four times, the 2020 5th International Conference on Materials Science, Energy Technology and Environmental Engineering (MSETEE 2020) was held during August 7-9, 2020. Due to the worldwide travel restriction and the prevention and control of COVID-19, MSETEE 2020 adopted the format of virtual conference through network technology to provide a forum for experts and scholars to share real-time information and discuss the state-of-the-art research on Materials Science, Energy Technology and Environmental Engineering. We learned that most participants still had enthusiasm to join this conference, that’s why we chose to adopted a novel way to hold this virtual conference instead of postponing it.
