China Rock 2020 was held on October 23–26, 2020, in Beijing, China. China Rock is a series of annual congress on rock mechanics and rock engineering held in Beijing. The conference was inaugurated in 2018 and was successfully held in 2019, with more than 6,000 participants in total. The conference offers a platform of sharing recent developments of the state-of-the-art and state-of-the-practice in rock mechanics and rock engineering, which encompasses a number of disciplines including civil engineering, mining, energy exploitation, environmental engineering, etc. It has been organized by Chinese Society for Rock Mechanics & Engineering in cooperation with International Society for Rock Mechanics & Rock Engineering and a number of other cooperating organizations.
