Viscoelasticity is the basic content of solid mechanics, which has become an important part of continuum mechanics. It usually includes two aspects: one is the description of viscoelastic properties and the expression of constitutive relationship; the other is the establishment and solution of boundary value problem. In this paper, based on Legendre transformation, a new numerical method which can effectively deal with viscoelastic boundary conditions is established.
