This paper describes the impact of marine diesel engine exhaust gas on the atmospheric environment and the international control requirements for marine diesel engine emissions internationally; introduces the current technical measures to reduce emissions of diesel engine exhaust pollution. On this basis, the advantages and disadvantages of each measure and the application scopes are explored.
