Currently based on the full 2D shallow water equations (SWEs) model has been widely used in flood simulation, but there are still two problems to be solved in urban inundation simulation: small-scale structure simulation and calculation efficiency of urban scale model. In this paper, the effective representation of small-scale structure and GPU acceleration technology are introduced into the numerical model to establish a high efficiency and high score model. The model is applied to the simulation of urban inundation in Yuhuan. The simulation results show that the model can simulate urban inundation well with a high accuracy.
