This paper investigates the structural form, scope of application, construction technology, management and maintenance measures of steel-concrete composite bridges. Then based on the construction conditions of highway bridges in Jiangxi Province, life cycle cost of steel-concrete composite bridges is analyzed. The economics of short and medium and span steel-concrete composite bridges and concrete bridges are compared from the perspective of life-cycle cost.
