Preface

The 2 nd International Conference on Improving Tropical Animal Production for Food Security (ITAPS) November 22 - 24, 2019, Kendari, Indonesia The 2 nd International Conference on Improving Tropical Animal Production for Food Security (ITAPS) was organized in Kendari, Indonesia, on November 22 - 24, 2019. The conference aims to provide a platform for academics, practitioner, government, student, and public to present and discuss research, innovation, and developments in the field of animal production. It provides opportunities for the delegates to share and exchange new findings, ideas, and result of the research applications to establish a new perspective in improving and developing the animal production field. The papers for the 2 nd ITAPS Conference 2019 will be published in the conference proceedings, i.e., the IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (EES). This is an open access proceedings that will be submitted for indexing by EI Compendex, Scopus, Inspec, CPCI, etc. As the committee chairman of the 2 nd ITAPS Conference 2019, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the keynote speaker, invited speakers, authors, participants, reviewers, and organizing committees, who contributed to the conference organization and the publications of the conference proceedings in the relevant journals that support this conference.
