Rare earth supply and demand forecasting plays a crucial role in the development of the rare earth industry, but there are some problems in common prediction methods, such as big error and insufficient authenticity. Through the use of panel data analysis methods to predict and analyze international rare earth supply and demand can greatly improve the authenticity and reliability. Spatially analyze the positive correlation between international rare earth supply and national GDP, rare earth production, and rare earth imports, while negatively correlated with the price of rare earth. From the time analysis, the international rare earth consumption presents the general trend of decline. At the same time, the supply and demand forecast of rare earth in China is analyzed and compared and strive to provide an important reference for the comprehensive development and utilization of rare earth resources in China through the analysis of panel data.
