In order to solve the problem in access control of open geological cloud resources, from the view of usage an access control model was proposed based on trust and role. Firstly, geological cloud resources were divided into five categories according to the actual usage of geological cloud resource, and the access control needs of various resources were analyzed in detail. Secondly, a layered access control model of geological cloud resource was designed, in which the access control process was defined and the evaluation method of user trust based on set pair analysis was given. Finally, the results and safety analysis showed the rationality and validity of proposed model.
