As a CO2 absorber, ammonia solution has a good application prospect. However, the high energy consumption of the process of removing CO2 by ammonia water will bring a significant reduction in the power generation efficiency and a significant increase in the cost of power generation when it is used in coal-fired power plants. In this paper, the energy consumption of CO2 removal process with ammonia solution is studied, through parameter optimization, process design and absorbent improvement, the energy consumption of ammonia decarbonization process is reduced. Economic analysis of ammonia decarbonization system is done when it is used in large coal-fired power station.
