The ductile shear zone type gold deposit is a very important type of gold deposit. For the study of metallogenic characteristics of ductile shear zone, the development is extremely rapid, and there are already quite mature research methods and relatively complete research contents. This paper mainly focuses on the structural characteristics, fabric characteristics of the shear zone, the relationship between the deformation of the shear zone and mineralization, the relationship between gold deposits and shear zones, the geochemical characteristics of the shear zone gold deposits, the metallogenic model and the future. The research direction has been made a simple narrative.
