In this paper, the composition and production conditions of viscous gelatinous substances in the inner walls of filters and pipelines in polymer injection system are analyzed in detail, and the influence of gelatinous substances on the development effect of polymer flooding is studied. A new understanding of the influence of gelatinous substances on the development effect of polymer flooding is obtained. In view of the harmfulness of gelatinous substances, treatment suggestions are put forward and positive countermeasures are taken for industrial field. It has important reference value.
