Energyplus is an important software in the field of building energy efficiency, which can accurately simulate building energy consumption. By comparing simulated situation of building energy consumption with actual usage of energy, the energy consumption can be shown in some buildings so as to optimize the building energy efficiency, especially for promoting the thermal performance of buildings. This paper utilizes the building energy simulated software-EnergyPlus to simulate the energy consumption of the dormitory of Southeast University so as to verify the key factors of building energy consumption.
